Dan Chiltern has worked in the construction industry for 30 years. Early in his career, Dan understood that in order to become one of the most well-rounded experts in the industry, he needed to know construction from the inside out, and from every perspective in between. Because of this, he designed, and then followed through on, a path to wear practically every "construction" hat in the field, ensuring in-depth knowledge of building almost any type of project, and becoming one of the most dependable, and experienced, professionals in his field.
After letting go of a startup home building business with a friend, Dan began working in the NYC commercial construction sector in ‘the field’ as a Laborer, Carpenter, & Superintendent for a NYC based construction company, before moving to the office as an Estimator. After 8 years, he shifted from this role to the that of Senior Project Manager, and then moved on to an executive position, running interior and exterior jobs as a Senior Vice President / Director of Construction for a Manhattan based real estate firm.
While working in the commercial side of the industry, Dan also continued to work privately on home renovations ‘for fun’, and because he naturally had the skills to do so.
In 2022, Dan, with his wife Danielle, felt called to leave the big city for a new life down south. Together, with their 3 children, they took a leap of faith and moved to the Texas Hill Country, bought land, and began making plans for their own homestead and mini farm.
Since the beginning, Dan’s goal was to work one on one with clients as a builder as the head of his own general contracting business. Today, this dream has become a reality. He looks forward to working with you.
